Revenue Streams Explained
What revenue streams are and how they relate to your plan.
What Is a Revenue Stream?
A revenue stream is a distinct source of recurring revenue in your business. Examples:
- Subscription Revenue — monthly/annual SaaS subscriptions
- Usage-Based Revenue — metered billing (API calls, storage, etc.)
- Enterprise Contracts — annual or multi-year deals
- Expansion Revenue — upsells, cross-sells, seat additions
- Services/Consulting — professional services or implementation fees
How Many Do I Get?
Your plan determines how many revenue streams LeakShield monitors:
- Starter — 1 revenue stream
- Professional — 5 revenue streams
- Enterprise — Unlimited
Adding Revenue Streams
Revenue streams are automatically detected from your Stripe data. If you have more streams than your plan allows, upgrade from Dashboard → Billing.
